Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Stone Golem Studios for using WristForge. Written in plain English on purpose.
Last updated 16 August 2026
The short version
WristForge is unfinished software in private testing. It may break, change, or go away. Anything you make with it is yours, entirely. Do not use it to do anything illegal or to attack the service. We are not liable if it lets you down.
The full terms follow. The short version does not replace them, but it is an honest summary.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By using WristForge at https://wristforge.app, joining the waitlist, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These terms are between you and Stone Golem Studios("we", "us").
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. If you are using WristForge for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Accounts are currently invite-only. Invite codes are for the person we gave them to. Publishing one publicly may get it cancelled.
3. This is pre-release software
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is near the top.
- WristForge is in development. Features may be incomplete, may behave incorrectly, or may disappear.
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including the whole service.
- We do not promise any level of availability, and there is no service level agreement.
- Keep your own backups of anything you care about. We take reasonable care, but do not rely on us as your only copy.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@stonegolemstudio.com if you think someone else has access.
Give us accurate information, one account per person, and do not share your login.
5. What you make is yours
You own everything you create with WristForge: your projects, your artwork, your code, and the games you publish. We claim no ownership over any of it, and we take no revenue share from games you publish to any store.
You give us a narrow licence to store, copy, and transmit your content purely so we can operate the service for you: saving your project, moving it between our servers, backing it up, and showing it back to you. That licence exists only to make the product work and ends when you delete the content or your account.
If you ever ask us to feature your work publicly, we will ask permission separately. We will not use your projects in marketing without you saying yes.
You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload, including artwork, sound, and fonts.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use WristForge to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else do so
- Infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
- Create or distribute malware, or anything designed to damage a device
- Attack, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure
- Scrape or bulk-download the service, or resell access to it, without our written permission
- Harass, abuse, or endanger anyone, particularly children
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, usually with notice, immediately where the harm is serious.
7. Publishing to app stores
Publishing a game to Google Play, the App Store, or anywhere else is between you and that company, under their rules. You are the developer of record, you hold the accounts, and you are responsible for meeting their requirements.
WristForge aims to help you pass review the first time. We cannot promise it. Store policies change without notice, reviews involve human judgement, and approval is never ours to give.
8. Pricing
WristForge is currently free during private testing. We will introduce paid plans later, and we will tell existing users clearly before anything starts costing money. Nothing here obliges you to pay for anything you have not agreed to.
9. No warranty
WristForge is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stone Golem Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising from your use of WristForge.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded, a game you published, or your breach of these terms.
12. Ending things
You can stop using WristForge and delete your account whenever you like. Email us and we will remove your account and the data attached to it.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the service. If we shut the service down we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your projects.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. For material changes we will email account holders. Continuing to use WristForge after a change means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Stone Golem Studios is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts of the state in which Stone Golem Studios is established, and you and we agree to that jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
15. Everything else
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something once does not waive our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about WristForge.
