The short version
Dash Tracker is a watch app for delivery drivers, made by Stone Golem Studios. Everything you enter (your earnings, miles, odometer readings, dash times, goals and tax settings) is saved on your watch and nowhere else. There is no account, no sign in, no ads, and no analytics. We never receive your data, so there is nothing for us to share or sell.
What the app stores, and where
- Your dashes: start and end times, earnings, odometer readings and miles.
- Your settings: daily and weekly goals, tax set-aside percentage, mileage rate, and car details such as fuel economy and gas price.
- Whether you own Pro, so the app knows which features to show.
All of this is stored privately on your watch. The app does not send it to us or to anyone else.
Purchases
Dash Tracker Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your card or payment details. The app only asks Google Play whether you own Pro, so it can unlock it and restore it if you reinstall.
Notifications, Tiles and complications
Reminders are scheduled on your watch. The Dash Tracker Tile and watch face complication read today's numbers from the same on-watch storage. None of this involves a server.
Device backup
If backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include Dash Tracker's data in your own device backup. That backup belongs to your Google account and is managed by Google. We can't access it.
Deleting your data
You can delete a dash in the app at any time. To remove everything, clear the app's storage in your watch settings or uninstall the app. Because we don't hold a copy, there is nothing to request from us.
A note on the tax numbers
The tax set-aside and mileage figures are estimates to help you plan. They are not tax advice.
Children
Dash Tracker is made for adult drivers and is not directed at children.
Changes
If a future version starts storing anything off your watch, such as an optional backup or export, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date above.
