Face Hub has no ads anywhere, not between faces, not as a "watch this to unlock" screen, not ever. That's a deliberate choice, not a limited-time thing.
Instead, faces are priced in coins. You buy coins in a small set of packs through Google Play, and spend them directly on whichever face you want: no separate purchase flow per face, no price to approve for every single item.
Buying a face is a one-time thing: once it's yours, it's yours, even if your coin balance later runs to zero. Spending coins needs an internet connection, since it's checked and recorded the moment you tap Get. There's no offline purchase to lose track of.
Your coin balance belongs to your WristForge account, not to one device, so it's the same on your watch, your phone and the site. When the WristForge Game Hub launches, the same balance will spend there too.
