Always-on and ambient preview
Preview what a face looks like dimmed, before you spend anything on it.

Most Wear OS watches stay on all the time in a dimmed "always-on" state between glances, and a face that looks great lit up can turn into something empty or unreadable once it dims. That mismatch is one of the most common regrets people have after buying a watch face. In any app, not just this one.
On a face's detail page, look for the Active / Always-on toggle over the preview image. Switching it shows you exactly what that face looks like in its dimmed, always-on state (the real thing, not a guess) so you can decide before you spend a single coin.
Not every older face has an always-on preview yet; those will get one as they're refreshed.
